MISS UNIVERSE
CROATIA 2024.

Laura is proud of herself for growing into a very ambitious, responsible, conscientious, perspective and simple person who is ready to fight and achiever everything she wants in life. She is proud of all her successes, but also her failures, because they helped her to be the way she is today and that makes her a better person.  

She likes spending time with her family, hanging out with friends, and being in nature the most. In her spare time, she rides horses, rides a bicycle, rollerblades and runs. She plays the piano and sings, and she also likes to read books. For years she practiced swimming, gymnastics, Pilates, basketball and kickboxing. In her free time she likes to dance and going to the gym.

She participated in numerous humanitarian actions, collecting the necessary funds to help victims of the earthquake; she volunteered for the action 72 hours without compromise, visited and took toys to the SOS children’s village, the Asylum for dogs. She helps the elderly with the arrangement of the garden, cleaning the home, donates clothes to Caritas.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for the education of others about the importance of humanitarian work and encourage the donation of funds to those who need it most, and she would join organizations that provide help in crisis situations and volunteering.  

Sara is most proud of her family, especially her parents, because they taught her to practice gratitude in every sense and for showing her the right path. She believes that one of the biggest problems in the world and in our society is hunger, and in order to solve this problem whole society has to change.  In her free time she likes to swim.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for the equality of all.

Dajana is proud of all her past successes, but especially of the fact that she dared to participate in the Miss Universe Croatia pageant and that she made it to the finals. She likes to sew and generally make products with her own hands, sewing clothes from start to finish. This process of creation from fabric to dress is unimaginable. She also enjoys growing plants, which is her meditation when she comes home after a busy day.   

She participated in humanitarian actions to collect funds for Caritas.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for encouraging young people to follow their dreams, to dare to take a step into the future, and simply go after what they love. Regardless of whether it’s a business they want to start or a competition they want to participate in. In life, it is important not to give up on your dreams.

Hannah Anastasia is particularly proud of her faith and resourcefulness, which have sustained her through various ups and downs in life, especially through some difficult moments in her childhood. Difficulties are what ultimately pushed and motivated her to give as much as possible.

Most of all, she likes to spend time with her husband, who supports her in life’s endeavors. Her hobbies are digital drawing, flower arranging, gym and Pilates. She likes to read books and learn skills that interest her using YouTube.

If she becomes Miss Universe Croatia, she will advocate for free feminine hygiene items such as pads, because many girls in Croatia and the world suffer every month due to the inability to afford them. Also, she would like children and young people to be more encouraged to entrepreneurship and development in what they are interested in.

One of the achievements in life that she is particularly proud of is her growth and development as a young woman who didn’t give up on her life goals and remained true to her dreams and values. She is very much engaged in various dance competitions and projects, achieving excellent results, which would not be possible without the great support of her family, especially her brother, who is also her dance partner in competitions.  

Lorena’s interests and hobbies include activities that encourage her physical well-being and artistic expression. She enjoys regular visits to the gym in order to nurture her physical health and strengthen her body, while dancing is not only a source of joy for her, but also a way of expressing emotions and creativity through movement. She was engaged in acting and singing.

 She volunteered at the Red Cross and collected funds and supplies in crisis situations and at an animal shelter providing care, food and love to abandoned animals. As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for the support and empowerment of women and men in improving communication skills and solving problems related to self-confidence. She believes that it is crucial to promote healthy communication and encourage people to express themselves openly and to actively participate in solving their problems. Through education and raising awareness through social networks, she wants to encourage people to feel safe in their own skin and to dare to express their feelings and opinions.  She believes that promoting mental health and self-confidence has a profound a positive impact on society and can drive positive change in the community and beyond.

Zrinka is proud that she has finally realized herself as a person through the experiences she has had so far because, despite the risks, she always tried to listen to herself and thus learn to deal with ups and downs that led her to greater self-confidence. Through fashion and photography, Zrinka finds inspiration for everything, and in her free time she engages in fitness training, reading modern psychology books, and traveling gives her a sense of freedom and always creates new memories. 

Zrinka is often involved in various humanitarian activities where she helps children, adults, cares for the environment.  As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for raising awareness and concern for mental health and reducing the stigma associated with this problem, as well as for empowering women and girls and encouraging them to realize their full potential, leadership, education, work and self-confidence.

Anastasia dances Latin American and Caribbean dances and in 2023, at the world Championship in Warsaw, she became the world champion in the Bachata solo category and second in the Salsa solo category.

She believes that young people should be encouraged to be physically active through sports and recreation, and should be distanced from spending too much time in front of screens.

Dance is Anastasia’s way of life, and through dance workshops she taught dance classes to people with intellectual disabilities ant the Golubica association in Vukovar. As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for strengthening awareness of physical activity among young people by presenting a combination of art and sport through dance. She would also like to motivate young people to create a positive attitude about themselves and self-confidence.

Matea is particularly proud of her journey and enrollment in nursing studies because she has always felt the desire to help others, to provide care and support. She likes spending her free time with her family and friends, being in nature, cooking and helping others, and going to the gym.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to dedicate her time to promoting awareness of the importance of mental health and providing support to those dealing with mental challenges.

Sofya is proud of her character and persistence, that despite being insecure about herself, she tries to experience herself in various aspects such as modeling, in order to get out of her comfort zone.  She loves to dance, sing and model, and as a little girl she played the violin, danced ballet and sang.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would help kids and adults who were mentally or physically abused, either at home or at school.

Marta is proud of all the success that sports have brought her and of the brave decision to leave her family at the age of 18 and to the USA to study thanks to an academic and sports scholarship: Marta is a national champion in swimming and graduated in biology in the USA with Cum Laude. She has been swimming for 13 years, and now she enjoys various physical activities such as waling, Pilates and the gym. In addition to sports, she loves listening to music and spending time with her loved ones. She volunteered at the Wings for Life races.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for the importance of mental health in today’s society, as well as equal rights of the sexes in all respects. She would like to show young women that every woman can be equally successful in her career, which in her case is the natural science of biology, and be beautiful and attractive.

Ana is very proud of herself for building herself into a person who can be a role model for young people. In her free time, she likes to draw, swim, dance, work out in the gym, run, hike, and visit theaters.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for the development of mental and physical health and education of young people.

Arijana is very proud of winning the first place at the national competition in the hairdressing category. Her profession is exactly what she likes to do the most: beautifying people with beautiful hairstyles and makeup, and in her free time she dances and sings in the church choir or volunteers at the Red Cross.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate by advising young people to realize their dreams and not to be afraid of their ambitions because everything is possible. In addition, she would advocate for gender equality and for the equality of all persons, regardless of age and gender.

Claudia is very proud of her successful marriage, good family relationships, and the fact that she does a job that she loves and through which she helps other people. She likes to work on personal development, self-actualization, stay in nature and live a healthy and active lifestyle. As a sport, she does bodybuilding (home workouts and gym). 

Every year at Christmas, she participates in charity gala dinners where money is collected for families in need of financial or medical help.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for the education of young people to learn that they do not have to change external factors such as going to another country in order to achieve a better quality of live, and that the can achieve their goals privately and professionally in Croatia without leaving their families and friends. She especially wants to encourage women/girls to be encouraged, to build self-confidence and to dare to change, because she herself was very withdrawn and lacked self-confidence almost all her life.

Vlatka is proud of her point of view and self-confidence, which she has built up over the years and gained through work and effort. In her free time, she plays the flute, acts as an extra in series and movies, and hosts programs.  

She participated in the Red Cross by collecting humanitarian funds in her hometown, in the “Our Children” association as a leader of workshops, programs and children’s performances, as well as organizing environmental clean-up actions. She volunteered at the Home for neglected children, where she helped and animated the children. She also started the “Putokaz” association, where she is the secretary whose task is to promote a better quality of life.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for better education and giving children a real and adequate role model, especially neglected children who grow up without parents. She is aware of how important the role of a mother is and believes that the mother is the first person one turns to for whatever the problem is and who, regardless of her parental role, will also give one real and friendly advice. She would like to provide the children with a motherly spirit and answer all the questions they have might about everyday challenges.

Lana is proud of herself for being able to enroll in the college she always wanted and for the fitness trainings she fell in love with her mother and which she does with love. She is also proud to be a good friend who is always ready to help people in need. 

She does fitness, likes to read books, and sometimes does make-up for her friends.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would advocate for helping children who have no home or food, and especially autistic children, so that with the help of experts, they can have a better quality of life, and parents can be helped to recognize the disorder at the early stage and help them.
