MISS UNIVERSE
CROATIA 2026

Rafaela graduated in laboratory biomedicine at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Ljubljana. During her education, she won numerous awards, such as the state STEM scholarship for excellence, the Dean’s award for the best student, the Dean’s commendation for exceptional academic success, and the Dean’s recognition for overall success in her master’s degree. Her work was published in the Journal of Applied Health Sciences (JAHS) in January 2022.

She is passionate, ambitious and always strives for excellence. She loves sports, art, meeting new people, and her favorite hobby is traveling. In the past year alone, she visited four destinations that left a strong impression on her: the Maldives, Dubai, the Canary Islands, and Rome.  

She is always willing to help others, whether through volunteering in the academic community or supporting students in their studies. During her term as Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to support projects related to the education and empowerment of young women in STEM fields. 

Antonija is an agricultural technician by profession and chose this profession primarily because she loves nature. She considers herself a simple, natural and sincere girl who loves art, fashion and sporting events.

In her free time, she is involved in modeling, cycling and athletics.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to help children, as she has done so far through volunteering.

Although she faced serious health problems, such as heart surgery, this did not stop Matea from pursuing her goals. On the contrary, the obstacles taught her courage, perseverance and how to be a motivation to others. In her free time, she practices Pilates and goes for walks with her pets. 

She plays sports, and the workouts she goes to every day help her maintain physical and mental balance and give her energy. She also enjoys reading and learning new things in her free time, which allows her to constantly grow and develop.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she wants to inspire people not to let any obstacle in life hold them back, but to always believe in themselves and continue to fight for their dreams.     

After graduating from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Osijek, Ana plans to enroll in the Faculty of Architecture because she is fascinated by the combination of art, functionality, and creative expression. She is communicative, open to new experiences, and always happy to try new things – whether it’s food, activities, or learning about something completely different. She is a big animal lover and always tries to be a voice for those who don’t have one.

She is aware that the title of Miss Universe Croatia carries a great responsibility, and with her humanitarian work and platform, she would encourage others to do the same.   

In addition to studying commerce at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, Ana likes to learn foreign languages, read Russian literature swim and walk in the nature in her free time. She loves helping others, supporting those in need, and especially loves animals. She has a positive energy that guides her through life an often motivates other to overcome obstacles. She is charismatic and easily attracts people, makes new acquaintances and friendships.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to do humanitarian work, especially when it comes to neglected children. Her goal is to guide them and help them find the right path in life, providing them with love, support, and opportunities for a better future.

Although she is originally from Zadar, Laura currently lives in Dubrovnik, where she is completing her third year of undergraduate nursing studies, works in a polyclinic, and plays professionally for the Women’s Volleyball Club Dubrovnik. All of these activities have taught her how to use her free time well, so she always sets aside a part of her day for activities that she loves, that fulfill her, calm her down, and make her happier, such as spending time in nature, spending time with animals, dancing, painting, playing the guitar, doing makeup, and creating video and photo content.

During her education, she was awarded for participating in foreign language competitions, and the most recent award she won was a gold medal for winning the First Croatian Volleyball League as a player for the Women’s Volleyball Club Dubrovnik. 

Health is her priority and she wants to help others understand how important it is to invest in their physical and mental health. As Miss Universe Croatia, she wants to be a voice for those who don’t have the opportunity to be heard and use her position to create real change in society.    

Monika runs her own hair salon where she enjoys styling and meeting new people. In her free time, she likes to organize trips and travel the world because she loves getting to know new and different cultures, exploring new destinations and trying different foods. She has visited 27 countries so far. She also loves to dance, she was a majorette for 12 years, she danced pole dance, and now she trains heels-dance. Dancing and traveling help her get rid of all her bad emotions.   

Even as a little girl, she always told her mother how she wanted to help other children who didn’t have enough to live on. She also mentioned children in Africa, how she would like to bring them the basic necessities they need to live a dignified life, and she will soon have the opportunity to do that in Tanzania.

Dolores is in her first year of studying biology and chemistry at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Zagreb and in five years she would like to pursue a career in biology and actively advocate for the education and empowerment of women in science. During her education, she participated in the creation of cosmetic products for residents of a nursing home and educated them on their use. She also participated in a project to raise awareness about the importance of preventive check-ups, raise awareness about the importance of mental health, and involve young people in active work for the benefit of the community. 

In her free time, she enjoys walking in nature, reading books, and spending time with family and friends. She has recently started doing Pilates, which helps her maintain physical and mental balance.   

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to dedicate herself to working with organizations that help people struggling with mental health, and to actively participate in initiatives that empower women and provide opportunities for a better future.

Ivona graduated from the School of Nursing, is studying at the Faculty of Economics in Split and works as a nurse in a private clinic. In her free time, she likes to dance, hike, run and roller skate. She is always ready to try new things and get out of her comfort zone because she believes that life is too short to waste it on fear of the unknown of potential opinions of others.

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would promote the importance of mental health.   

Anđela attends the Josip Runjanin Music School, where she enrolled in the opera singing department in order to improve her singing skills and pursue a musical career. She has been inspired to write songs and literature since she was a child and would like to pursue a successful musical career. She works in the family business, actively participates in all business activities and helps run the business, which is why she is considered a young entrepreneur.   

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to perform at charity concerts and volunteer at an animal shelter.    

The knowledge she gained at the university, Ema plans to apply to starting her own business, and in addition to studying, in her free time she relaxes by doing makeup at local television, hanging out with friends, and skating.    

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to dedicate herself to caring for neglected children, especially those without a home. She has a younger brother and her love for children began when he was little baby.   

Lea is a big fan of sports and an active lifestyle – she maintains her physical activity and fitness by going to the gym, running, and following a proper diet. In addition, she likes to spend her free time in nature, in the company of family and friends, while her dog Jackie also plays an important role in her life. During her schooling, she participated in inter-school debates in English, which greatly helped her develop communication skills.  

In addition to sports, she also has a creative hobby – embroidery on clothes. She trained majorettes for almost 10 years, where she met lifelong friends and learned teamwork. They were multi-year national champions, and in 2019 they won gold in all formation categories at the European Cup.    

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to focus on the importance of physical activity and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. Sport is not just a way to a stronger body, it teaches us discipline, perseverance and self-confidence. Through sport, we push our own limits and create a better version of ourselves, not for others but for ourselves – that’s why she think we should all remember this saying: „Comparison is the thief of joy“.   

Matea is the proud mother of her little girl Nika, her greatest achievement that gives her the greatest strength and motivation. She is a communicative, creative and very positive person who enjoys physical activity, gym training, long walks and spending time in nature in her free time. In high school, she trained in athletics and won medals in various competitions.

After completing her education, she tried her hand at the Croatian Armed Forces and after military training, she got a job in a store where she still works.

As Miss Universe Croatia and as a mother, she is particularly sensitive to the care of neglected children and would like to dedicate herself to humanitarian work in that area. 

Communication skills, honesty, empathy and organization help Melita in all aspects of life. She loves spending time with her loved ones and friends, traveling and shopping. Although she is not actively involved in sports, she participates in sports games that are held every summer in Ozalj. So far she has played volleyball, and this summer she wants to compete in bowling.   

As Miss Universe Croatia, she would like to dedicate herself to caring for abandoned animals, organizing campaigns and events that will raise awareness about this important issue and encourage people to help.
